I have a hot take on demonology as a field. It may be unpopular, especially with so many books out there that claim to provide ALL the knowledge about the hierarchy of hell and what foods and leisure activities demons enjoy, but I make my argument using the limitations on human knowledge of the preternatural, historical anachronisms, and the troubles just demonic names pose to make my case.
